Hands-On Infection Control is committed to ensuring the privacy of individuals and is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Hands-On Infection Control shall manage any personal information disclosed to them in accordance with the principles. We shall:

  • Ensure third parties who access your personal information to provide services to you, handle your information in accordance with the National Privacy Principes.
  • Seek to keep your personal information accurate, complete and up-to-date.
  • Protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or modification.
  • Destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when we no longer require it for any business or legal purpose.
  • On request, provide access to the personal information we hold about you except if particular conditions apply (including serious or imminent threat to life or health of an individual, specified business requirements, authorised by or under the law, or other public interests).
